When yoga and you don’t gel ~ My yoga shame* ~

Here is a thought. Does a person find yoga or does yoga find us? Yoga certainly found me rather than me finding yoga. Does everyone have to fit into one approach to yoga then? Nah T.K.V. Desikachar says no one approach to yoga, or style of  yoga works for everyone. Everyone’s path to yoga and the yoga that is going to click for them is different . it sian’t about one size fitting all. That may be the issue facing the blogger at Ink on my fingers: ~ My yoga shame* ~. read her current yoga experience below. Just a thought

At this very moment I should be in my yoga class, but instead I am sitting on my sofa typing these words. I am a failed yoga student. I paid for the beginner’s course, invested in some super-comfy yoga pants and dusted off the yoga mat I bought when i last tried to learn yoga. It’s a five-minute walk to the yoga studio but instead I am eyeing up a bar of chocolate and wondering whether it’s time to down tools for the day and watch Californication.

This is my yoga shame: i don’t really like it. Yoga, i mean. I don’t like the accompanying guilt either.
